2011 - 2012 Elite Camp

Hockey Camp - 2011 and 2012 AAA / AA

This July, Lake Effect Hockey will be hosting our first ever 2011 ELITE CAMP and Tournament . 2011 and 2012 birth-year players from around the region will be coming together at the Erie Bank Sports Park for an unforgettable weekend of skill development, fun and competition!

Participants will be exposed to high-level instruction and coaching from former and current professional and Olympic players and coaches!

All players will receive:

  • 8+ hours of on-ice instruction and game time

  • Camp jerseys & socks

  • Camp T-shirt

  • Camp water bottle

  • Player gift bags.

Cost: $330

Players signed up by June 6th receive a $30 discount.

***Please note, this camp is for 2011 birth-year players at the AA, AAA and elite level. Players coaching contacts are required at checkout.

Camp is limited to 36 forwards, 16 defense and 8 goalies

Weekend Highlights:

Friday:

  • Off-ice combine testing with Tyler Travis and the Erie Sports Now staff. Tyler is the strength and conditioning coach for the Division 1 Men’s and Women’s hockey teams at Mercyhurst University. Tyler also works with the Team USA Women in the summer.

  • High-intensity skill development session with professional instruction on multiple levels

  • NHL-style Skills Competition. Hardest shot, fastest skater, shooting accuracy and more! Prizes from Sauce Hockey and plaques to be awarded in each category.

Saturday:

  • Morning practice sessions run by professional players and coaches. We will have an impressive staff on-hand with NHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA and international experience! Following the mornings practices players will be divided into 4 teams

  • Round Robin games start. Each team will play 2 games on Saturday. Highlights include:

    • Celebrity Coaches

    • 14 minute stop-clock periods

    • USA Hockey referees

    • Game MVP awards for each game

Sunday:

  • Final Round Robin game will be in the morning. Top 2 teams will play for the championship with 3rd and 4th seeds playing a consolation game.

  • Championship highlights:

    • Medals for winning team and coaches

    • Game MVP award

    • Announcement of All-Tournament team

      • Most Goals - Forward

      • Most Goals - Defense

      • Most Assists

      • Best Defense

      • Best Goalie
